Sure the hardware probably works, but I'll never know since I forgot my computer, and most modern computers now, no longer have parallel ports :( So before you make this purchase check your own machine or buy a Parallel-to-USB converter cable to go along with it. Though their performance is usually shaky, you might be better off trying to find someone who still runs a machine that has a parrallel port to hook this old device too.
